Let's have a look at your choice of strands!

Strand 1: The Blueprint for Action
The National Council on Educating Black Children’s flagship document, was produced in 1986 at the Hunt Valley 1 Conference. Written by African American grassroot communities, national organizations, and educators, the Blueprint for Action is a manifesto for action. It promotes collaboration and empowerment among stakeholders in the “village,” to support the educational success of all children. In Strand 1 there are seventy-five (75) slots available for strategic working teams to revise our flagship document. If you are a Student, Parent, Educator, Policy Maker, Faith-based or Business Leader, we invite you to participate with other like-minded stakeholders to formulate NCEBC’s policies, practices and pedagogies for the 21st century. Registered participants who are interested in being a part of the strategic working teams please email ncebc@sbcglobal.net by January 10, 2012.
