Personal Information / Third-Party Suppliers
NCEBC uses its best efforts to respect the privacy of its online visitors, supporters and constituents. On our site, we do not collect personally identifiable information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. This information is used solely by NCEBC for internal purposes or for the purposes of the product or service for which the information was disclosed. In general, we do not require you to register or provide personal information to us in order to view our site, although registration may be required for certain products or services or sections of our site.
We may also use third party suppliers and service providers to fulfill the products and services offered on our site and make personal information available to them to the extent necessary for them to provide services to us (for example, to process a credit card payment). NCEBC requires its vendors to maintain the confidentiality and security of private information to which they are provided access and restricts vendors from using the information in any way not expressly authorized by NCEBC.
NCEBC does not solicit by phone or use telemarketers to solicit contributions. If you receive such a call, please do not give out any personal information. If you receive a call and the person says they are calling on behalf of NCEBC to solicit a donation it is most likely fraudulent activity and we highly suggest it be reported to your state authorities. To report a perceived fraudulent telemarketing call, promptly contact your state’s Attorney General’s office. Their contact information can usually be found on your states’ web site.
